We are excited to let you all know that we are working with Riding Mountain National Park and @travelmanitoba, to pilot a skating rink and trail system on Clear... Lake!We have seen and heard from so many visitors like you who are needing a safe outdoor escape to maintain mental and physical health during these challenging times! Winter visitation to @clearlakecountry has been increasing year after year and we felt it was time to up our game when it comes to winter, our favourite season!Our goal this year is to start small and create a skating experience on the surface of Clear Lake that we can learn from and build on in years to come!Visitors can expect to find 2 circular skating rinks just off the main beach of Clear Lake, connected by a loop trail system.Ice benches and wind break structures found throughout the trail system were built by our friends @sputnikarchitecture with support from @travelmanitoba. Friends annual Jack O’ Lantern Carving Workshop is just one week away (Friday October 23rd, 7:00 to 9:00 pm)! For only $15.00 you and your family will receive a... pumpkin, basic carving tools and stencils, treats and refreshments. Advanced registration required as there are a limited number of pumpkins / carving tools available! Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Email [email protected] or call 204.848.4037 to reserve your pumpkin! Deadline to register is 5:00 pm on Thursday (October 22nd).
