Georgian Jumps

Storybook season for Bennett Woods this year. Ofsaa gold and a narrow miss for the record. Canadian Junior champion and the youngest to ever do it. Then was a huge day at the Bolton pole vault meet which he jumped 4.73 which is possibly the highest jump for a 16 year old in canadian history. Today was the Canadian youth championships which Bennett won Gold and capped off one of the best seasons you can ask for.

Congrats to bennett who cleared 4.73 meters. #4 in the world for under 17 and #35 in the world for under 18.

Thanks to everyone that came out and helped out at our first ever Canada d'eh beach vault! Most fun I've had at a track meet ever. Thanks to my wife Shana Dorion, my mom Anne Dorion, Jerry and Christa Woods as well and Jerry's sister. Bennett Woods and Liam Knoll, Dean Heliotis. Jim McLaren for officiating the entire day (didn't even see him take a washroom break). Our grill master George Ivan's and Dave Trembley who flipped about 500 burgers. Very exhausting yet rewarding experience and am looking forward to next year!
