Thursday March 12th 2020 - JAZZ CANCELLED Dear Members and Friends of Jazz This is to advise you that tonight's concert by Indigo Jazz has been cancelled due to our Corona Virus situation. Currently I'm communicating with the Medical Officer of Health to seek advice on how we should continue with future concerts in forthcoming weeks. As soon as I have that information I will share it to you. We would have been selling tickets for Marc Atkinson's April 2nd concert this evenin...g, and tickets are available at Bop City, but I'm asking you to hold off purchasing until we have determined whether we will continue with the show. Sorry it's all of a muddle, but it is suddenly an issue we have to deal with responsibly - given that Vancouver Island's first Corona Virus case is in Courtenay. Please stand by for follow-up information, and remember to wash you hands regularly. Thank you for your continuing support of live jazz. Sincerely, Malcolm Holt See more

Feb 6th 2020 at 7:30pm. This year Larry will be presenting something new as he has invited Chad Pabianek to join him on the Avalanche stage. The interplay of these two accomplished guitarists achieves an exciting blend of rhythm and melody that brings fresh energy to the jazz repertoire. They will be solidly supported by John Hyde on acoustic bass. Another great night for jazz.
