Oftentimes when we get sick, there are many things around us that could cause it that we’re unaware of. Here are a few things that might be the culprit of triggering your immune system without you even knowing! Stress - this is a big one that we all encounter each day. In our previous blog posts, we broke down the different types of stress, and how it can affect your immune system. The truth is, the less you stress, the more you take care of your body. Carrying too much... fat - for someone who is carrying extra weight, it places additional amounts of stress on their immune system and causes a haywire reaction. Regulating Body Temperature - for those of us who experience extreme temperature changes, it’s extremely important that we eat nourishing foods regularly. If we don’t, we are unable to maintain our body temperature correctly. This causes us to begin shivering and demand energy from our bodies. Plant Intake - it turns out that many plants are good for you in limited quantities, but if you eat them too much, they can become bad for you. Here at WILDFIT, many who complete WILDFIT 90 also experience non-scale victories, including improvements in their acne and overall skin health. We’re sharing a remarkable success story today that showcases a non-scale win when it comes to the skin! (yes, we made that rhyme!) Christine Harris struggled with cystic acne for many years. Today we are excited to introduce Maddy! She is one of our Project Coordinators for WILDFIT. Maddy plays a large role in helping run the WILDFIT social media and answering direct messages (she loves engaging with everyone and answering questions!), creating content (you would have seen her in a few of our Reels/TikTok’s!), assisting with running our WILDFIT Challenges, and providing a hand in any other areas of WILDFIT that need support! Here are a few fun facts about Mad...dy: She is a recent graduate from University with a degree in Marketing She loves to golf and has grown up playing the sport with her family She loves to travel and is excited for when it is safe to go again - she already has a Europe trip planned out!
