Today (May 5) one of our employees was informed by Fraser Health that they were in close contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid. We immediately shut the store down to wait for further instruction from Fraser Health. The impacted employee has not tested positive, has been vaccinated and does not currently have any symptoms. In these circumstances, Fraser Health has confirmed that the risk to customers and other employees is incredibly low and we are not require...d to close but, out of an abundance of caution, we will be closed tomorrow (May 6) for extra deep cleaning. We apologize for the inconvenience. We want to publicly thank all of our employees for taking our Covid protocols so seriously. We are so proud of them for rigorously following our protocols so that we can keep everyone safe and our small business open. We also want to thank all of you who have continued to support us and be kind to our employees during this insane time for the bike industry. We appreciate your ongoing patience and understanding. To say we feel angry, frustrated and violated would be an understatement, but it does make us feel a bit better knowing we have such a great community of customers, businesses and bike... industry folks that will rally around our small business in a time like this. We really appreciate all the concern, comments and questions, but since this is an active investigation we obviously can’t get into much detail so we won’t be answering any comments/questions on our posts.
