Today is Giatec's 10th Anniversary! Back in September of 2010, Pouria Ghods and Aali R. Alizadeh co-founded Giatec Scientific Inc. They began their work with the help of advisors at Invest Ottawa in a small incubator space. Through a lot of research, the company's first product, RCON, was created: a non-destructive lab device for measuring bulk electrical resistivity of concrete. Since then the list of award-winning products has grown to include our leading wireless concrete... sensor, SmartRock. Over the years, we have partnered with several incredible companies to bring our smart IoT-based solutions to the construction industry. These companies include: PCL, Aecom, Kiewit, Skanska, and many others. Today, we have 50 dedicated employees, our products are available in over 85 countries, and our SmartRock sensors have been used in over 6,000 jobsites. Thank you to all of our customers, partners, dealers, and employees for your continued support. We are looking forward to continuing to revolutionize the concrete industry with each of you! #concrete #construction
