We have also set up a Hurricane Relief Fund in partnership with the Choloma Chamber of Commerce to assist in our employees and communities rebuilding efforts. You can make a donation by visiting the Gil...dan Hurricane Relief Fund page here: https://ficohsa.pixelpay.app/ccich/MTA3NQ==/instashop. Meet Keith Dye. Keith is a U.S. Navy Veteran who served 22 years in the Submarine Service. He retired in 2004 before transitioning into Corporate America. Keith now works as a Maintenance Manager at Gildan and has been working at the Company for four years. Serving in the military gave me the skills and techniques that have helped me become the person I am today. My development there reminded me of the construction of a Navy Submarine, with its various systems, components, team members, and strong chain of command each of which make it operate successfully. Witnessing all these parts coming together to serve a whole helped me recognize the significance of the roles I filled, and I take pride in the part I played throughout each mission during my time in the Navy. #veteransday

For #veteransday, we’re introducing you to Rick Collins, U.S. Navy Veteran. Rick grew up on a farm in the mountains of East Tennessee and joined the Navy after high school, where he spent 20 years in the Submarine Service. Now, he works at Gildan as a Maintenance Supervisor. My time spent in the Navy was immensely satisfying: I served on three submarines and two surface ships, where I worked with dedicated people who came together in a most demanding environment. My transition from active service was stressful yet exciting, and after working at two companies in automotive manufacturing, I moved here to Gildan. I’ve been here for two years, and I hope to stay until I retire as I enjoy working here.

Environmental stewardship is about more than reducing our business impacts. It’s also about getting involved with conservation initiatives and proactively engaging ourselves, our employees, and our communities around the importance of environmental protection.
