The application process for the 2018-2019 school year opens on January 1st! To open a file, simply fill out and submit the first page of the application document found on our website under the Admission Information tab (http://gillespieacademy.ca/admission.php). This can be submitted via email by taking a picture or a scan of the completed page and sending it to: [email protected]. Or it can be submitted by mail to our new address: 15 Vansittart Ave, Woodstock, ON, N4S 6E1.

We praise the Lord for bringing us to the beginning of our eighth year of Gillespie Academy! Just having graduated our seventh class, we now have nearly 80 alumni! Here is a picture from our recent alumni reunion of about half the group.

The Graduating Class of 2016

Our Lord has brought us through our sixth academic year and is greatly encouraging us as we look to the seventh. Having just received our twentieth application a short time ago, we have already reached our cap for the 2016-2017 school year. Praise the Lord for his continued blessings!

All are welcome to join us as we celebrate with the graduating class of 2016 and as we praise God for his many blessings to us! This year’s Graduation ceremony will be held, the Lord willing, on Thursday, April 21 at 8:00 p.m. at Covenant CRC (410 Lansdowne Ave, Woodstock). We hope to see you there!

NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2016-2017 SCHOOL YEAR Due to the amount of interest and inquires that we are already receiving for next fall, we have decided to start accepting applications for the school year which is set to begin in September of 2016, D.V. To have us open a file for you, all we need at this point is the first page of the application form which can be accessed by following the link below. Applicants will be contacted in the spring and be asked to provide ...all remaining documents. We welcome and encourage prospective students to pay a visit to the Academy! Our sixth year is underway. Praise God!

We are just over two weeks away from the beginning of our sixth academic year! The Lord has provided us with ten students; four young men and six young ladies. Over their first semester the students will be studying the following six courses: (1) Old Testament Survey taught by Rev. Scott Wilkinson, (2) History of Western Thought taught by Dr. Ben Short, (3) Logic taught by Rev. Jeff Kingswood, and the rest which will be taught by Rev. Brian Murray are (4) Systematic Theology,... (5) Practical Ethics, and (6) Academic Strategies. Please pray for everyone involved in this ministry that we would keep a clear Kingdom perspective. Pray that we would all remember that these aren’t just students, these are souls in need of encouragement and instruction. Also, that this isn’t merely an educational institution but rather that it is a mission. Praise God for the ways in which he has poured out his blessings on this ministry so far and pray for His continued favour! To God be the glory.

This past Saturday we had the pleasure of hosting our annual Alumni Reunion! This is always a time of great encouragement for both the staff and the graduates. It provides a wonderful time of fellowship and gives us opportunity to hear about how the Lord is working in the lives of these young people. Gillespie Academy now has a total of 47 graduates. It has been exciting to watch this ministry grow and we are humbled to see the ways in which the Lord has blessed us. Please pray for the alumni that they would be faithfully using and wisely applying the things that they have been taught.

Thanks to everyone who visited the Gillespie table at OCHEC this past weekend! It was an encouraging time for us as we were able to chat with old friends and meet new ones. Please remember us in your prayers and ask the Lord that we would remain faithful to him as we continue in this ministry.
