Were you registered for the winter session of Zumba Gold and / or Aqua Zumba that got cut short in Gimli due to COVID? Stay tuned for an email from RM Gimli Recreation Programmer Brenna Philp for an update this week!

Due to the current rising number of COVID cases, Gimli Recreation will be moving to a cashless transaction system to help keep our staff and public visitors safe. We will be accepting Debit and Credit Card payments through our terminals. We encourage everyone to make proper arrangements prior to coming to the Rec Centre or Aquatic Centre. We thank you for your patience in this matter.

Beginning Tuesday, August 11th, the Gimli Rec Fitness Centre will be switching over to our Winter Hours schedule. The hours will be 7:30am - 9:00pm daily and closed on Stat Holidays. Thank you and have a great weekend!

Our sunflower is back in action! To activate the Gimli Spray Park, touch the black sensor in the middle of the sunflower. The water runs on a timer, so when you are playing keep the sunflower in mind!!

Registration for GAC Aqua Zumba and AquaFit starts tomorrow, June 30th, at 10:00am! You can register in person at the Gimli Rec Centre or over the phone at 204-642-6670. If you are registering over the phone, please make sure you have completed the registration form and PAR-Q form that are available at http://www.gimli.ca/p/recreation-programs. The forms need to be emailed to [email protected] before you call. Payment is required at the time of registration.
