Ok! I’ve finally mastered these masks enough to share them with you all! I wanted to make sure that they were actually going to make some sort of difference with how they can protect yourself and others from Covid19. Apparently just a normal cotton fabric won’t do much, but there are nurses that have started making some for themselves (let me know if you’d like to see the link) and what they’re doing is using #4 and #2 coffee filters inserted into one another to act as a stronger filter. Each of my masks come with a little hidden metal wire inside the top so that you can mold it snug around your nose and has a little opening on the inside where you can insert the coffee filters. I did try to put two in my own, like the nurses did, but found it a bit restricting to breathe properly, so I can only use one for myself. Better than nothing I guess? I guess we can all just try our best to adjust to this, right? They come in different sizes S-L and OS for men. Trying to add a little cuteness and humour to this whole thing, so here are your options. 1. Pineapple Express 2. Flamingo Summer (sold out) 3. Crips 4. Floral G. 5. Alpaca-off My handmade masks obviously won’t block out nearly as many droplets as the N95 masks would, but they have had some strategy and thought put into them, so Trying my best to do something and help in some way. Let’s continue to stick together (2 meters apart) and support one another through this.
