COVID-19 Business Disruption - Update We hope everyone is staying safe. Our thoughts are with you, your families and businesses during these unprecedented times. In the interest of public health and following BC Government recommendations associated with the current COVID-19 crisis, Glacier Air is only offering limited flight operations and flight training until further notice. Unfortunately we are not offering any Air Tours at this time. We remain open and operational for es...sential service and emergency charter operations only while continuing to take all necessary precautions to protect our staff and clients. Protective measures include conducting health checks for everyone entering our facilities, social distancing whenever practical, wearing protective masks and gloves in flight and routinely cleaning and disinfecting all our facilities, including aircraft. Flight training has resumed for Phase 1 students which includes those who are post-solo and preparing for flight testing. PPL written exams, PSTAR and Radio exams for Glacier Air students may also be scheduled at this time. Phase 2 students will include pre-solo students currently enrolled in our PPL program. We anticipate this group will be able to start flying mid June. Phase 3 will include welcoming new students and offering introductory flights. Classroom Ground School will not resume until after Phase 3 is introduced. The entire Glacier Air team understands and regrets the disruption this will cause our clients and students, but we believe it is the responsible thing to do.
