Our First Ave. Program had a fun snack this morning to go with this snow day.

Happy Halloween! Our staff are having a pumpkin carving contest. Each program team worked together to create a submission. The parents and children are voting on their favourites. These are some of the entries at our Fifth Ave. location. We have some very creative people! A big thank you to the Fallowfield Tree Farm who donated all the pumpkins for this competition!

Our Full Day 4s program went to pick apples at the Lansdowne orchard with people from the Hidden Harvest Organization. "...Thanks so much for your support in this event, we ended up harvesting 395 lbs of apples and the daycare took a lovely 14 lbs of apples! Lots of them were donated to the Parkdale Food Centre, Minwaashin Lodge, and the Bronson Food Cupboard." Hidden Harvest Ottawa
