Piano Lesson Cancellations The Ontario government has just announced that schools will be closed across the province from March 14 April 5, due to concerns about COVID-19. For the sake of community health and safety, Piano lessons will also be cancelled during the same period. Should there be any changes to these dates or directives from the government, I will react accordingly.... Please note that according to the Glendale Piano Studio Policy, "The teacher reserves 4 weeks off per school year in addition to the holidays posted on the Glendale Music Studio website Calendar. These weeks off are reflected in the tuition fees. Since there are still 2 weeks remaining, I feel this is the opportune time to use them. Feel free to email me if you have any questions or concerns. MARCH NEWS MARCH BREAK March is already upon us, and I’m sure you are all looking forward to March Break. A reminder here that there are no lessons during this school break, March 16th to the 20th.... MARCH MADNESS WORKSHOP Our annual spring workshop will be held on Wednesday March 25th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In this workshop will be exploring Marches in music, followed by pizza for everyone. This workshop is in lieu of regular lessons that week. ADULT STUDENT LESSONS Adult student lessons for the week of March 23 to 27 will all be held on Tuesday March 24th. I will discuss the availability of times during that week with all of you individually. Mark your Calendars for the Glendale Piano Studio Christmas Recital! THURSDAY DECEMBER 12th at 7:30 The Holiday Season is gearing up again this year! We have a great line-up of music for this year’s Christmas Recital, featuring Duets and even a Quartet at the Piano! Please note that we are at a new location this year, in a brand new building with a brand new piano! ... The Kingsbridge Retirement Community just opened it’s doors this fall and has invited us to play in their beautiful reception area. It is located just up the street from the studio, at the corner of Davis Drive and Centennial Drive, beside the Shopper’s Drugmart.
