We're pretty in love with Emily's Trees' awesome jewelry. This talented lady not only creates awesome nature-inspired pieces like this, but also shapes gorgeous jewelry trees out of wire. All of Emily's creations are almost sculptural in nature, making them functional (and wearable) pieces of art! Snag one for a friend (or yourself!) at Glisten tomorrow. 10am-3pm at the Great Canadian Theatre Company (Holland & Wellington)!

One of my absolute favorite things about being a craft show organizer is discovering new handmade companies here in Ottawa. We're very excited to introduce you to Crafted in Colour, a brand-spanking-new company making its craft show debut at Glisten this Saturday! Owner Christine makes the most darling sewn bags in the coolest & hippest color combinations--you simply must check them out in person at the show tomorrow!

No matter how bad a day I'm having, Winged Beast Outfitters can always make me chuckle. With t-shirts featuring a raptor riding a whale to funny drawings of things like ghosts smoking, owner Stirling is always dreaming up something chuckle-worthy. One of his latest creations? This gem, which is pretty awesome. Snag one hot off the press at Glisten this Saturday at the Great Canadian Theatre Company!

Gals, can we talk about something? It's about Salvage Jewelry Co. And how obsessed I am with everything. they. do. Owner Brandy recently rolled out these new bracelets, and I don't know if I'm going to be able to resist buying one of each this weekend. So darling, right!? You can grab one before I buy them all up at the show on Saturday. Wellington & Holland, 10-3, admission is free!

We don't have any little ones in our house yet, but when we do, I will definitely be using this coaster from VersaTile to start a holiday tradition! Owner extraordinaire Dan designs and prints the coolest tile coasters for your home, and his "Santa's Milk Goes Here" tile goes fast during the holiday season. It's pretty cool to think of the many Ottawa families that use VersaTile's coaster in their family tradition each year. I can't wait to join them! Be sure to grab yours at Glisten this Saturday, November 16th at the GCTC!
