God's Kingdom Ministry

Good Morning Church, I was thinking it would be great to fill up God's Kingdom page with testimonies of what God has done in our lives. I think it's super important to keep sharing them. Let's keep sharing those stories that fill each other up. So I'll start.... This verse(James 1:2-4) has been such a good one for me, I've not liked it in the past years because really who wants to have Joy in trials? We would rather do without them. But in reality they just come so how do we ...deal with them? I've recently had some personal trials and it's been super hard , but when you are one with Jesus, God continues to carry you just like he said he would. With my Mom passing I keep thinking I should be falling apart. Don't get me wrong I'm super sad and I will always miss her. But the cool thing God has carried me through it. I feel like he's actually carrying me, I'm taking time to heal but I have this joy knowing that I don't have to do this life alone. God has given such a beautiful peace. I know there will be moments where I feel sad but I know who's carrying me. That makes all the difference in the world. I want to encourage each of you to share something as well. Let's fill this page with hope and encouragement of God's goodness. Facebook needs more positive stories in each. Thanks Esther Enns.

Announcments for the week. *Charis Healing University* We've decided to change the format of Wednesday evening Bible study! Rather than watching two videos each evening, we have decided to watch one video and use the rest of the time to go through the questions together in small groups. We believe that this extra time to connect with one another and discuss scriptures will contribute exponentially to our spiritual growth! Meet at the building at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, and br...ing a friend! Side note on Charis Many of you have been asking if there is a way to listen to a lesson if they’ve missed a night of school. The answer is yes!! I received an email today from AWMI & they have given me permission to lend out the USB we received when we purchased the school material. It is audio only, but the exact same lesson as what we watch at school. One criteria from AWMI is that you don’t make copies of the files. The USB stick will be lent out from Wednesday-Wednesday, for only 1 week at a time. It will need to be available Wednesday evenings, because if we continue to have a bad internet connection like we did this last week, we need to have the USB there for backup. Someone has requested it this Wednesday already, but I currently have it at home right now. If you’d like to use it till Wednesday just let me know. Cheryl *Baby Shower for Jaycelyn and Alex Teichroeb!!* As many of you know, Jaycelyn and Alex got married earlier this year and are now expecting a baby in December! Helena Neufeld and Tina Teichroeb had planned to have a baby shower for Jaycelyn on Tuesday, November 10 but now that the Covid restrictions have increased to "orange", Jaycelyn and Alex have requested that the baby shower be moved to a "virtual" version because they wish to respect the government guidelines. Rather than having an in-person baby shower, Helena and Tina have decided to bless this newlywed couple by collecting words of encouragement, blessings, and gifts and delivering them on Tuesday (the original date of the shower). Please consider taking the time to bless this beautiful young couple with a card and some encouragement! Alex and Jaycelyn are still in need of several large items, so giftcards/general monetary gifts will be the best way to help them get ready for their new baby! Please bring your gifts to Helena this Sunday!

Congratulations to all of the 1st year graduates of Charis Bible College

This Sunday Announcments for those who didn’t receive the email Charis Graduation This Sunday, as part of the morning meeting, we will have a small graduation "ceremony" for those students who completed the first year of Charis Bible College.... Potluck To celebrate the Charis graduates and to enjoy fellowship with one another, we will have a potluck lunch after the meeting on Sunday. Please bring something to share! May we all be rooted and established in the love of our Father as we grow in the knowledge of Him!
