Some pictures of students returning to school in one of our HYTES-sponsored schools in Kenya (Lambwe). In Kenya, schools closed in March, 2020 and just reopened in October, 2020. Our most recent update from Kenya: Form 4 terms have been moved forward so they may get to write their national exams in April 2021. Form 3 and Form 2 will open if all goes well with Form 4. ... Though we are in different areas of the world, the pandemic has affected everyone in one way or another. Your donations make such an impact. Another wonderful letter from one of our HYTES sponsored students back in the fall. Thank you Joyce! Through COVID-19, everything has been on a bit of a hold. We will be having a Board Meeting via Zoom tonight to discuss future planning! When things open up again we hope to share our story more with the community to be able to continue to help our HYTES students. We understand times are tough financially, but every donation helps and will... allow youth in developing countries to continue their education. We appreciate you all! Remember, HYTES is 100% volunteer run, and 88% of all donations go directly to paying the selected students school fees directly to the schools (10% for program costs in the other countries to assist our country reps, and 2% toward program costs in Canada).
