For all those brave souls that managed to last until Sunday ....Congratulations the weekend has turned around and great weather ahead....forget about the rain, snow, and wind...now sunny and calm enjoy the rest of your stay....

Let the fun begin...opening day for the May Long Weekend...a little cool but not raining (yet) but should clear by late Saturday...for a great weekend. We have a full (nearly) campground...a couple of cancellations on the river ..so openings there ...but otherwise weekend here we come.....

Well opening day was a ""blast "" we are sorry for those that were unable to get their reservations in but in our defense we received well over 150 calls in 9 hours. We kept them as short as we could at around 3.5 minutes per call. May Long Weekend booked full in a little over 3 hours. There are still plenty of good weekends and sites available tho...Happy Camping

Sad news from the park. We lost a dear friend and a great supporter of our park with the passing of Roy Brown on Jan. 26 . Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Roy was a long time board member and a key figure in developing the park into the great place it is today. He will be missed.

The staff and members of the board wish everyone A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We are looking forward to a great 2015 camping season. See you soon.
