Hey! Tristan's sister's farm is looking for a farm hand. Check it out.
A huge thank you to the Burkholder Bros for helping to bring this mural out for all to see again. What was once on the Fruit Stand is now on the side of what we use as a seed/drying house. As we pick strawberries and asparagus, plant, weed, and harvest, we will see this....stunning art that shows Secwepemc ways of being by Isha Jules.
We are saddened by the recent, unexpected loss of Greg, a long-time employee of Crannóg Ales. We will miss his hellos-with-a-smile and tip of the hand, full enjoyment of live music, and pep in his step. Sending so much love to his partner, Deb, as she grieves this loss while also tending to her own health needs. Please consider supporting if you can.
So excited for a Golden Ears Farm alum, Morten, and his role in this inter-generational community-building farm-to-restaurant concept through Alimentum. Beautiful.
In solidarity with Julie John and the Red Dress Project: "The red dresses are to help honour, remember, and bring awareness to the issue of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women & Girls."
Woo hoo! Wish I had a before and after post for y'all! We are ready to start this year's spring cleaning after David Dick and King of Kings just cleared out big items that had been lying around....for years....heh hem. We highly recommend David and King of Kings!
Thanks to Jo at Forest Garden Soap & Sundry (where we pick up our favourite soaps, lip balms, & hand creams), our certified organic eggs will be at the winter market today! Find them at his table for the rest of the winter market run into December.
At -3 we are going with a minimalist display to minimize cold damage But we here!

Gotta post a night photo once in a season! Harvesting-by-headlamp the last of our watermelon radish before a series of frosty nights falls upon us. We spent the day getting ready to plant our garlic. So much to do before the ground is too hard to work in....
'Tis the season for all of your 'storage ready' veggies. Market starts in 10 minutes and Tristan has beautiful red kuri squash, celeriac, watermelon radish, turnips, carrots, onions, and the last of our cucumbers, peppers, and eggplants. And eggs, lots of eggs. Stop by to say hi to Tristan from 8:30 - 12:30 today, close to the corner of 3rd and St. Paul :)
A nice fall day come join us #kamloopsregionalfarmersmarket #organicfarming #goldenearsfarm #pears #apples
