The REDress Project is at King’s Park in Carman today until 3pm! This is a FREE outdoor public art installation to honour Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. All are welcome
GPAC has teamed up with @carmanlibrary for a colouring contest (Open to all ages + with prizes!!) Colouring pages will be available for pick up at either location, or you can print them at home through our website (link in bio!). Bring your colouring pages in when complete so we can show them off + celebrate all your creativity The contest closes on June 12 and winners will be selected by random draw on June 15!... GPAC welcomes Désirée Penner (@desiree.e.penner ) as our new Executive Assistant + Curator! Désirée is a local watercolour painter + potter from Elm Creek. She loves to travel, attend artist residencies and flower garden. Désirée has a degree in social work and lives in a former railway house (a section house) built in the 1880s. Yes, you read that right - she lives in a former railway house and works at a former train station She will be overseeing exhibitions, workshops, the gift shop, + social media.

Local author, Railin Morgan, has graciously donated the vibrant oil paintings by Carol Timmers, from the pages of her children's book, Max Magee, to hang in the music room. - Her book is available in the GPAC Gift Shop.
