Our Team was nominated by AMA School Safety Patrol to join the #StacktoSackHunger challenge and donate to our local food bank! Here is our stack, ready to be delivered. In return we have challenged Northern Mat And Bridge, Pipeworx Ltd. a PLH Group Company and LSM Lee's Sheet Metal to create their own stacks and donate to the food bank. Thank you to our Board, staff and their families for their donations both of food and of online donation to support our local food bank.

Our first physically-distanced Home Alone course is underway! We are very excited to welcome our first students since we reopened. Our September courses are being taken by participants that were registered back in March & April because with COVID we had to cancel on them. We thought it best to make sure they got the class they have been waiting so long for before we advertise classes. Our Executive Director, Cindy, is teaching a class of 10 students today, all participants... have brought their own masks, snacks, and water bottles, and we have ensured 2 metres of space between all students. We are accepting registrations for upcoming sessions of Home Alone, you can contact Cindy by phone, email, or here on Facebook for more information. We will soon be offering virtual classes of Home Alone as well! October course dates will be announced in about 10 days. Thank you to FCSS for supporting our Home Alone program to help give children the tools and confidence to stay Home Alone for short periods of time.
