We are getting very close to our $30,000 stretch goal! Help us end the year with some fun and donate what you can to shekinah.ca/donations. Every dollar rais...ed helps Shekinah prepare for reopening! Also a huge thanks for all the support we have received during this campaign. Yes money is helpful but we are also uplifted and energized by everyone's positive messages and encouraging words!

Today was to be the kick-off of a week-long tour through Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia by the CMU Singers; however, the tour unfortunately had to ...be cancelled due to COVID-19. Tonight's performance have been a collaborative event with @Rosthern Junior College in Saskatoon at Wildwood Mennonite Church. While not a replacement for "the real thing", here's a recording of the CMU Singers performing "Deep River". https://youtu.be/MDRuyKQAKDw See more

Christ is Risen! Happy Easter from Voices Together! The Voices Together text committee routinely studied early sources of historical material included in the f...orthcoming collection. On examining the original French text of this Easter classic, the committee was moved to revise the English translation to reflect the source's emphasis on resurrection as victory over death. Thanks to Matthew Froese for curating this virtual gathering of worshipers! See more
Monday nights is normally when our prison visitation program occurs. Prison is a lonely place at the best of times. A visit from a volunteer helps lessen feelin...gs of self isolation for the inmate, and provides them with hope for the future. Due to Covid-19, visits for inmates are suspended. During this difficult time, we are finding ways to reach out and still provide that sense of hope and caring to the inmates in our programs - hence the letter writing campaign begins! If you have an interest in writing to one the inmate participants in our program, please get in touch with our program coordinator, Heather at [email protected]
