HOW TO BUILD A SHOW-STOPPING CHARCUTERIE BOARD We're sharing our favourite tips for building a charcuterie board that will wow your family and friends this summer. ( Make sure to SAVE this post for later!) FORMAGGI - Pick at least three kinds of cheeses with various flavours and textures. We recommend a sharp, hard cheese (like our aged caciocavallo!), a softer, more mild cheese (like provolone or havarti) and a soft, spreadable cheese (we love a double cream... brie, but anything goes). SALUMI - Choose at least two or more meats with varied flavour profiles. We love a thinly-sliced prosciutto and a spicy salami for an extra bite. PANE - Provide some bread and cracker options for enjoying your cheeses with - like a warm focaccia or baguette slices, breadsticks, rustic grain crackers, etc. SPREADS - Depending on the cheeses you provide, you might want to add some spreads and jams to further enhance the flavours. We suggest honey, a berry compote and an olive tapenade. TOPPINGS - Finally, give your guests some toppings to enjoy - like nuts, dried and fresh fruits, olives and more. Put it all together, and you've got yourself a perfect charcuterie board that anyone will adore!
