On Behalf of St. Margaret’s Anglican Church, Oakfield Obelisk - Tickets $5. each or 5 for $20. As you are likely aware, St. Margaret’s in Oakfield had to cancel our annual fundraiser - the Dinner and Silent Auction at the Oakfield Golf and Country Club on May 2. Not only did we miss the fun, the music, the games, the delicious food but also the opportunity to bid on some awesome auction items and to raise money for our lovely little church.... Gerald Holmes, dear friend and neighbor, has been a constant donator to our Auction with his hand made wooden items - arbors, bird houses, trellises.......and this year an obelisk! How wonderful that will be in someone’s garden! So, because it is spring and a time many are out in the garden and it is an exquisite piece of woodworking, we are going to sell tickets on this wonderful item and all proceeds will go to St. Margaret’s Church! Tickets are $5/each or $20/5 tickets. We will sell tickets until end of day June 28th....we will sell tickets virtually (you tell us how many tickets and cash or cheque) & we can come to your door and socially distance to do the exchange! You can call Janet Braunstein Moody at 902-860-0665 or Lynn Morrison at 902-266-8530. We will video the draw, and we will let the lucky winner know on June 29th! Thank you.
