Check out our theater Upgrade Story. We were tasked with upgrading a beautiful 5 year old system, from 1080p HD video and surround sound to 4K UHD and Dolby Atmos Audio. The system already had 11 surround speakers and 2 sub woofers being fed by a Yamaha AVR. We just had to upgrade the video wires and sources as well as lots of firmware. A simple firmware upgrade on the Yamaha AVR got us Atmos audio. We then pulled a fibre optic HDMI lead to the projector for 4K UHD video. T...hen it was just the case of installing and setting up 4K sources, which included an Apple TV 4K, a UHD Blu-Ray player and a Cable box.
