We are looking for dedicated and experienced individuals to help oversee operations of the Community Trust Fund. Deadline to apply is August 9th, 2018. Contact the Trust Manager or any of the current Trustees for more details.

Here are some key dates to cast your vote for the community programs to get services delivered to the community from the Garden River First Nation Community Trust. Please note that if there is NOT a majority vote, the programs cannot be delivered to the community! Your vote matters in more ways than one for the Trust Fund! You can contact our Trust Manager, Alanna Jones, at the office to cast your vote at ANYTIME between now and the deadline which is December 31st, 2017. Don't delay!

March 31 is the last day to submit proposals for the 2015 CAP vote.

The Community Trust is looking into online voting to be added to the on-site paper ballot and the mail-in ballot system. If you want to let the Trust know what you think, check out: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2ZBF23Z If you want to be an online voter, the Trust needs your email address. Please send your 199 status number, your full birth name, and your email address to [email protected] or [email protected] so we can add you to the list. The survey is open to everyone, but the online voting is only open to Garden River First Nation members, no matter where you live.

A Notice for you PowWow fans.

The Community Trust is looking into using eVoting for the 2015 CAP vote. If you would like to be a part of history, we need you. Please send us your Status number (the 10 digit one that starts with '199', your full name and your email address. This can be emailed to [email protected] OR [email protected]. ... You can also send it in to the Community Trust office at 16 Moccasin Street, in Garden River.

The CAP vote is done, the ballots tallied, and its unofficial, but the vote was not a valid vote.

Remember, the 2014 Trust vote ends today at noon! I'm at 16 Moccasin til the end.

To the out of towners who want to vote in this election, you have to email us at [email protected] so we can send you a declaration to vote and a ballot. Both have to be sent back to be considered. [email protected] put "CAP 2014 vote" in the subject line.... They must be received by Friday, December 19 at noon to be considered a vote.

Good afternoon...the Garden River Trustees will be holding its next monthly (3rd Monday of each month in 2014) meeting on Monday, April 14 from 530-830pm at the Trust office--16 Moccasin Street in Garden River. Band members are welcome!

Calling all community members. We at the trust, as previously posted, are putting on a play titled, "The Wizard of Rez". We are in need of a Garden River Braves LNHL hockey jersey or track jacket to be used during the play.
