WELLNESS WEDNESDAY Many people struggle to stay hydrated, ESPECIALLY in the winter months. Here’s some commonly asked questions and helpful tips you can use to get more H2O! How much water should I drink?... According to the US National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, a general adequate daily fluid intake is about 15.5 cups of fluids a day for men and about 11.5 cups of fluids a day for women. That’s a LOT of water! Why is this so important? Since our bodies are made up of up to 60% water, it relies heavily on hydration to keep its normal function. Drinking a sufficient amount of water allows for the body to regulate body temperature, lubricate joints, ensure your organs are functioning properly, and assists with the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to your hard-working muscles through improved circulation. As an added benefit, your sleep, cognitive brain function, energy, cardiovascular health and general mood will improve! How can I get myself into a routine? Include water consumption as one of your goals for the week! Setting alarms on your phone to remind you to drink water can also be a big help. If you’re working from home, make it a point to get up and walk away from your desk every hour to both stretch your legs and get a refill on your glass or water bottle. OUR NEW LIVE SCHEDULE LAUNCHES TOMORROW -- We’ve added FIVE new class styles to our Live Virtual Studio and 12 new time slots during the week to get your specialized workouts in. You can use these classes to compliment your existing in-studio and/or at-home training to really dial in on specific areas. Our new specialty classes vary from 20-30 minutes in duration, including the warm up. You can stack these classes before or after a Strong, Lean & Fit or Hardcore or... add them into your schedule when it’s most convenient. This is how we can really personalize your training for specific goals! Replays will always be available on demand, so if you can’t catch the LIVE workout you can always workout to it on LIVE replay on your schedule. -- FOUNDATION - 30 MINS: think of this class as an intro to Lean and Fit! Full body bodyweight circuit that is low impact and perfect for members who are just getting back into working out or need to dial their training down. No equipment necessary! -- ABS & HIIT - 30 MINS: this class is High Intensity Cardio Intervals combined with Ab work. This hyper-focused workout is designed to light up that midsection with a hardcore sweat and burn targeting you core. -- BOOTY BUILDER - 30 MINS: will be focused on building, toning and sculpting your legs and glutes. We will run Booty builder 3X a week and each class will focus on a specific group of lower body muscles. The focus is on tightening and toning your lower body. -- UPPER BODY SCULPT - 30 MINS: this class will be targeting your back, biceps, triceps, back and shoulder. This class will run 3x a week-, each class will focus on a specific group of upper body muscles.
