The glare makes this not the greatest pic we've ever taken, but it was a great day as the warm weather revealed this lost band, which we were able to reunite We have a couple jackets, and a hoodie we'd also like to get back to their rightful owner; drop us a line if you think they may be yours. Centre will hang onto them until Monday. Stay safe, and look forward to seeing everyone out and about with this fantastic forecast

Hi 5s to whoever cleared off the Main Rink yesterday, appreciate it. Fresh flood down on the Main this AM, and looking good. Back has been cleared, but heat blisters are starting to pop up. Have fun everyone, probably not too many days left; as the forecast below will likely seal the deal.

Spring is in the air, you've likely felt the warmth of the sun, and perhaps heard some pleasant chirping. We're so very thankful, and fortunate to receive these quality, and beautifully crafted, Cedar birdhouses from local GA neighbor Deryl; to be used as a Fundraiser for the Centre. There are a limited number, and are available for $40. Please reach out through the Comments, or Messenger to provide a perfect nesting spot for the songbirds, and wrens that are visiting the area!

Ice will be open and fresh this afternoon

Sorry all, has turned out to be just a little too beautiful out today We will have to close the Rink(s) in hopes of getting a chance to resurface, and carry on. Staying off the ice during this time will increase the chances of us being able to re-open. Have a great day, and thanks formyour anticipated cooperation.

Friendly reminder that absolutely no pucks and sticks are allowed on the small / North rink. And a more serious statement. Inappropriate behaviour or statements will not be tolerated. The use of the Centre and its facilities are a privilege and should be comfortable for everyone in the community.

Are you missing your mitts, slides, tank tops, water bottle etc? They are on the pole.

We are happy to "Officially" start the ODR season. Currently under Code Red, there will be no Public Access to the Shack. Skates will need to be laced up outside, no popping in to warm up, no Canteen available. We'll adjust as able. Lights are currently set to go off at 8:30PM, we'll look to extend these hours after demand stabilizes, and we get the ice quality to a level we are more accustomed to.... Please be mindful when parking, to not block access to the lane, and each other, a straight North South line is preferred. *Reminder, no sticks and pucks on the North side rink, skating only. We can't thank those that have been helping out enough, and also to the many of you that have offered too help. We'll certainly call on you throughout the season. Generally speaking, the easiest (Definitely tongue in cheek) way you can assist, is by clearing snow to the sides of the rink. Feel free to message for coordinated efforts after significant snowfall. But more importantly be a good neighbor, be inclusive, be respectful, be patient, and be kind to, and with one another; that REALLY helps. Have fun, and stay safe.
