When hiring a contractor make sure to: Obtain a written detailed quote. Sign a detailed contract with everything detailed, payment terms, job description, scope ect. Get three quotes. Makes sure they all include the same things.... Check references. Read reviews. Ask for pictures of the contractors work. Ask for proof of insurance Wcb coverage and a business listener. Finally never pay cash!!

We are just putting the finishing touches on a large tile deck in Peachland . It is Constructed of wood 3/4 ply over 2 by 10. Then a tile backer vinyl for waterproofing followed by Deitra tile subfloor for stiffening , porcelain tile Installed using grout and adhesive commonly used in pools. It’s amazing! Most contractors say this can’t be done in the Okanagan but we do it all the time.... It’s not cheap but it is amazingly beautiful. Surrounded by frameless glass railing.
