GSU MUN 15.02.2021

Congratulations Kazeem for being the 'GSU Graduate Student of the Week'. Kazeem Adefemi is from Nigeria and currently studying for a PhD in Community Health & Humanities in the Faculty of Medicine of Memorial University. His doctoral research aims to explore colorectal cancer screening uptake and outcomes among seniors in NL. He is a student member of the Aging Research Council, NL (ARC-NL). Kazeem is active with the GSU where he doubles as Executive Assistant and Health &... Dental Coordinator for the GSU over the past couple of months. He is also a member (volunteer) of the Social Events Committee and the Health & Dental Committee of the GSU. Kazeem loves to volunteer and to be part of the MUN's multicultural committee. He volunteers with the Family Program of the Internationalization Office. Kazeem is passionate about volunteering and hopes to remain an active member of the MUN community. Excellent, Kazeem! Congratulations Ali for being the 'GSU Graduate Student of the Week'! Ali is a PhD candidate in Process Engineering at MUN. He is studying the interaction between crude oil and chemicals at the molecular scale by advanced computational chemistry. He has published a journal paper and got acceptance for a book from his research. Ali has been a volunteer with the Student Society of Petroleum Engineers (SSPE) for the past two years and currently, he is the Vice President of the... society. He has assisted in organizing events, such as social night, networking, workshop, technical talk, field trip, and trivia night.
