We are pretty thankful this guy arrived this spring. Sired by Smokin N Rockin and off of a daughter to our stud, Shooks Royal Pine. There’s a lot of excitement for this guy and it’s always hard being patient waiting to see what they grow up into. Needless to say he’s surpassed expectations thus far.

Thanks to Ron Graff for the purchase of this coming 4yr old mare.

6 year old mare consigned to the saskatchewan rope horse futurity on October 18th. One of the kindest, easy going horse’s around. She’s been used on the ranch ...sorting, pulling bulls, doctoring, branding, etc. Been heeled off of for 2 years and entered in jackpots. Lightly headed off of. Ride her everyday or once a month she’ll ride away the same. Anyone can ride. She’s had multiple kids on her back. See more

Beautiful 3 year old mare consigned to the Saskatchewan rope horse futurity sale on October 18th. Lucy has about 60 days riding on her, and to say she was an ea...sy start is an understatement. Climb on and away you go. Can give her time off and she rides away right where you left off. We’ve used her moving cows, she’s been used to treat off of lightly, started heading off of her on the machine, and tracking steers down the arena. Extremely cowy for just getting started. Soft, powerful, the potential to make an exceptional ranch and/or performance horse. Multiple full siblings have excelled on the ranch, heading, heeling, breakaway, barrel racing, etc. Lucy is the perfect fit If your in the market for a good looking prospect that’s had a good start and is ready to go to work

Last night finished off our last race for the season. 7 out of 10 times we were in the money. Thanks to Colleen O'Hagan and Mike Taphorn for doing a great job training our horses.

Which foal belongs to this mare? Not the one you’d think. The stud colt grazing in front of the mare is actually hers. The little filly sucking, she belongs to a mare that was severely injured and needed to be euthanized. We placed the filly with Cat and her baby so she had a companion and someone to look out for her. Never thought she would adopt the filly as her own and raise the 2 together.

5 year old mare. She hasn’t spent much time in the pasture yet, and she already handles getting shot off like a trooper. Not to mention she took to roping animals like an old pro.

Earlier this year we sold 2 geldings to Arnold and Sheila Mackie, along with a 2 year old filly to their son, Shawn. The 5 year old bay and 2 year old filly headed their way this spring, and after completing 2 months of riding on the 3 year old roan he is officially at his new home.

Finally got him back home. Haven’t seen him since he was 3 weeks old, love what he’s growing into.

All the goals are on the ground but I’m behind on pictures. This is the only filly we got this year.

3 year old sorrel mare. Had 5 rides on her as a 2 year old and is getting another 30 days put on her this spring. She’s a real powerful, strong mare that is going to excel in the roping pen.
