This month's teacher is someone who wears many hats at GV, and who has been a wonderful teacher and Pathway Advisor for us for several years....SCOTT FOWLER! Here's what Scott shared about himself and his thoughts on teaching: "I was born in Jamaica, and grew up in Canada. I enjoy hiking, watching movies, reading, traveling, and music. I've taught all over the world in Ja...pan, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. You can tell I love teaching-- I've been doing it for 20 years or so--and have been at GV for over 6 years. I normally teach higher level classes such as English for Academic Purposes and exam preparation. What I like most about teaching is that every student has their own story and, through classroom interaction, I can learn really cool things about really interesting people from fascinating countries all over the world! I like students to have a great experience at GV one in which will not only help them reach their language goals, but also have a memorable time and make lifelong friends. I try to keep these things in mind every day. My one word of wisdom to everyone is this: time is precious!
