Our guests got quite a thrill last night as a pod of orcas passed by the entrance to Fairwinds Marina at Schooner Cove just as we were leaving. Captain Mike turned off the engine and allowed the family to pass with their two calves. Many thanks to @MelVincent for capturing these shots from shore! #haidagold

A cruise by historic Ballenas Island lighthouse is included in most of our scenic tours. Built in 1917, this concrete octagonal structure stands 10.7m and was staffed by a long list of lighthouse keepers with a colourful history, until 1996 #haidagold #lighthouse
