The Stay-at-Home order will continue to apply to 28 public health regions until Tuesday, February 16, 2021. For Toronto, Peel and York regions, the Stay-at-Home order will continue to apply until Monday, February 22, 2021. Final decisions will be subject to review of the trends in public health indicators at that time. As much as I truly believe that we will be allowed to open on the 16th, Sylvia and I have decided to wait to do any calling until then, in the case of an un...expected review changing that date. It is stressful yet exciting to reschedule clients but at the same time we don’t want to have hopes dashed, and to just have to go through the process again. We truly are grateful for your patience and understanding

To our valued clients: Our goal is to open as safe as possible, not as quick as possible. Your patience is truly appreciated as we prepare for putting health and safety measures into place. We realize every salon will be opening at different times. Please remember the salon is attached to my home. So yes I am being extra cautious. Doug Ford has only given us 4 days notice after saying it wouldn’t be until near the end of summer, and this morning I just received an email wi...th our guidelines. I ordered PPE on May 30th, but with shipping being slow, it won’t be delivered until between June 22-July 7. As well as shipping for our hair supplies is taking longer as well. In the meantime while we wait for orders we will be preparing the salon and sorting out our schedule. For the first while Sylvia and I won’t be working at the same time. We will be calling people in the order they were cancelled. Safety is our number one priority. The Ontario Ministry of Health has hired thousands of new inspectors so we expect they will be visiting salons, meaning the new rules will be followed strictly. The good news is we will be open near the beginning of summer rather than near the end of it. I will be posting more updates in a few days. Thank you again for your patience and understanding. K so I spent the day at the cottage and there is zero reception there. My watch started going crazy the closer I get to town... Please be patient as Sylvia and I will be talking later to make a plan. Also please be patient as we won’t be able to book as many hairdos as we could before. We appreciate it!!

We have been getting a lot of phone calls/messages as to whether we are open or not. We are, we have not been told to close. That being said, we ask that clients use there own discretion as to whether they should come or not. Sylvia and myself have not traveled, we don’t have colds or anything. If you have traveled, have flu like symptoms or don’t feel comfortable being out and about, we fully understand and support your decision to not come in. Hair can wait. Sylvia and I are working together to ensure that our salon is a safe clean environment. There are never a lot of people in at one time. Above all, stay safe and healthy
