#FridayFood As the holiday season draws near, this recipe for butternut squash soup with thyme and winter spices is sure to comfort. From Brittany Oram, executive chef at Tavola restaurant in St John’s, the recipe uses simple ingredients, and the soup is puréed and easy to swallow if you have a sore mouth or throat. It can also be a good choice if the foods you usually eat taste different now. Recipe link: https://www.cancer.ca//butternut-squash-soup-thyme-winte/

"Cancer doesn’t care if we are in a pandemic. It marches on. So many Canadians are affected by cancer every day and we can’t forget that it’s why we must keep... funding critical research." Dr Alexander Wyatt, a Canadian Cancer Society-funded researcher. Now, more than ever, we need your support. On #GivingTuesday, a global day for giving back, join us in driving innovation forward, dreaming bigger and creating a future where no Canadian fears cancer.
