BibleProject is such a useful resource for learning about the background of Biblical concepts and books of the Bible. Last Sunday we looked at the overview of Genesis 1-11. National Call to Prayer, Jan 20 - 30, 2021 "Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful" Colossians 4:2... If ever there has been a moment in the history of our Canadian Vineyard Family that we are critically aware of our need for God’s wisdom, it’s now. Pressed on every side and daily challenged in the midst of Global upheaval, we are reaching out for the enabling of the Spirit to maintain a rooted and grounded presence in the midst of all that is happening around us. More than ever before, we are sensing the importance of setting our compass to Jesus and Jesus alone. This will be our overarching theme for 2021. Over the past several years as a new year begins, the Canadian Vineyard has engaged in a communal fast. The impact of setting aside time and making space to corporately pray, wait and listen, has been invaluable to us as a family. It’s in these times that God has reminded us of the joy of knowing His voice and the value of being connected, encouraged and strengthened by one another. This year’s fast will begin on Wednesday January 20th and end on Friday January 30th. We are full of anticipation as to how and what the Holy Spirit will show us in this time. Huge love and prayers. We will be learning about and praying for the persecuted church this Sunday on our Zoom gathering.

We look forward to being on our land again for our Sunday morning worship tomorrow Sunday Sept.27 at 10am. Some songs of praise, an inspiring kid's message, a story of faith and some encouragement on 'facing our giants.' We will be practicing social distancing and encourage the wearing of face masks to protect the vulnerable among us. Bring along a lawn chair or blanket.
