Happy National Caregiver Day! Our H-PCAP team wants to take a moment to say thank you to all of you for the tremendous work you do every day to support your loved ones with aphasia. Whether it is supporting your loved ones’ communication; helping with activities of daily living; or providing emotional support; we know that it is a hard journey and that your efforts may go unrecognized. We see you and appreciate you, and have great respect for all of you. Some days you may f...eel very alone in your journey. Please know that we’re here to support you, not just your loved one with aphasia. Please take some time today to reflect on all the wonderful support you’ve provided and take time for yourselves whether it’s a walk in the sunshine, a phone call with a friend, reading a book, or sitting quietly with a cup of coffee. It’s important to take care of yourselves and you deserve it!

We were impressed by the amazing questions and, as always, the value in sharing experiences. What a great Saturday morning! ...
