Where are they now!? Today we look at our first goalie alumni of the series.. Today we see Colin Furlong. Colin was a standout goalie in the league from the minute he dawned the blue and white. Such a standout he graduated from the Raven program to play uSports for WLU as their start for the next four years. After his time with WLU, he went on to play in the top pro league in Alps to join fellow Raven alumni Piroso. Since becoming a major pro overseas Colin has been a stand...out there as well.. to put it in perspective for the success Colin has had in the pros, his lowest totally save percentage since playing pro was a .918% Unbelievable numbers, he has also since won every goalie award in 2018/2019 as well as the leagues most valuable player in 2019/2020. Colin is just one of many success stories post playing for the Ravens. We are very happy to see Colin continue to be one of the best goalies in all of Europe. Where are they now!? Today we look at yet another McInall! Zac as shown here dawning the blue and white for the 19/20 season. Zac was a elite player who’s name was very familiarity fans and the scoresheet. Although it only took Zac one season to advance from our program, we were happy to play a key role in his development! ... Here are some words from Zac regarding our program and how is has played an instrumental role in where he is today! The St. George Ravens gave me the opportunity to continue in developing my game while experiencing what it’s like to be apart of a winning franchise. A winning culture helps develop winners and professional athletes. Speaking with Zac he is looking to continue his hockey career.. currently he plays in Swedens Söderhamn/Ljusne HC / Division 2 pro league. Where are they now!? Today we look at former Raven Bret McInall! Bret dawned the blue and white for the Ravens during the 19/20 season and was a prominent piece in the playoffs! Unfortunately with the playoffs cut short, Bret still saw some post junior success! As seen here making his professional hockey debut in Sweden, Söderhamn/Ljusne HC / Division 2! Unfortunately, again due to COVID-19 he saw another season canceled.. but, we look forward to seeing what Bret does movin...g forward with hockey. Where are they now!? Today we look at Ravens graduate Alessio Piroso. Alessio spent time in the Ravens program throughout the 2017/2018 season. Coming from Italy, it speaks volumes on the reach this program has. After a successful campaign in Canada he returned to Italy playing in the AlpsHL which is the top league in Europe, as well as stints in Italy2. ... We are happy to see Alessio continue to play hockey and pursue his passion. The St.George Ravens are eager to get back on the ice for the 2020/2021 season. We as an organization have continuously put forth a top tier club that focuses primarily on player development, and advancement. Year after year, the Ravens have been a household name at the top of the standings. And we WILL continue to be at the top. From our veterans, to our first year junior players. We have carefully selected a team that will not only supersede last years conference championship team, but will bring a new style of play that the Ravens fans have yet to see.
