To our valued patients: We are thrilled to begin welcoming you back to Hampton Dental Clinic! Please rest assured that we will be following all the protocols outlined by the New Brunswick Dental Society to ensure your safety and comfort. As you can appreciate, we will be looking after our most urgent cases as quickly as possible and then moving onto regular preventative care. ... Please note that we were initially told hygiene services could resume on June 1st, and have now been advised that date may be pushed ahead. If you have a hygiene appointment which we have rescheduled to early in June we will be in touch next week to let you know if the date needs to be changed based on updated information from the provincial regulating body which we hope to have soon. You can call us anytime at 506-832-5508 to book an appointment and we will also be contacting all patients to re-book any missed appointments from March, April and May. As always, if you are experiencing a dental emergency, please call us right away. The dental industry will have a new normal to ensure you receive the same quality dental care in a safe environment. As such, there will be some additional steps. Don’t worry, they are quick and we are here to help! When we connect over the phone, we will need to screen you for COVID-19-related information before your appointment, and again in person when you arrive. When you visit our office, here are the things you'll need to know. You will be required to: * wear a mask as you enter and leave the office (we will provide if you don't have one) * have your temperature taken *use hand sanitizer entering and leaving * we ask that you not come into the office until the time of your appointment as we work to reduce the number of patients in the clinic at one time. Unless you are accompanying a child, you will need to come to your appointment alone to reduce the numbers in our office. Again, we will cover all of this with you as we reach out to book your appointment and are here to answer any questions your may have. We are excited to be back to doing the work we love. We continue to welcome new smiles and your greatest compliment is a referral of family or friends. Thanks You for your patience and look forward to seeing you all again soon! IMPORTANT INFORMATION UPDATE: On Sunday May 10th, the New Brunswick Dental Society released the Operational Plan for dental offices. The NBDS Operational Plan is our new standard of practice and must be implemented in each dental clinic prior to any return to practice. We will be placing a strong emphasis in the early stages, on physical distancing and on the importance of dealing with the backlog of patients who have been unable to receive full dental care in the past severa...l weeks. As a result we will not be running at full capacity for the next couple of weeks. We ask for patience as we begin to schedule patients who have had dental concerns that we were not able to fully treat during our closure and any new emergencies. Elective treatment and non urgent care will not be addressed during our initial opening phase. Routine appointments with a dental hygienist/check ups, etc. will not begin until at least June 1st. If you have an appointment between now and June 1st for a regular check up and cleaning or non emergency treatment or have had a non emergency appointment unscheduled since March 16th, we will be in touch with you shortly to re-schedule. Visiting the dental office will be much different than it has been in the past. We will be following many new guidelines set out by the the department of public health, Worksafe NB and the NBDS during this pandemic. Everyone's safety is our top priority and we ask that you contact us by phone only for appointments, questions and concerns. We truly miss seeing our patients and have appreciated your patience during this unprecedented time! Thank You!

We would like to thank you all for your understanding over the last few weeks during this unprecedented time while we were closed except for true dental emergency treatment only. On Friday, the government of New Brunswick relaxed the restrictions for dental offices allowing us to reopen upon confirmation of an Operational Plan by the NB Dental Society. The NBDS released a statement saying they need more time to prepare an operational plan for us. As a result, dental offices ...in New Brunswick will not be allowed to open until Wednesday, May 13th. We have been working continuously over the past two months securing our additional supplies of personal protection equipment needed to protect our staff and patients. Of course, much of the masks and special PPE we will require has been reserved for other health care facilities and practitioners who were and continue to be on the front line during the pandemic. This has made it difficult to obtain some equipment that we will need before we can reopen. As a result, we may not be able to begin all dental procedures on May 13th. We will contact you soon to re-book and/or confirm your appointments as we continue to secure the necessary supplies needed to follow our Operational Plan. We will continue to address true emergencies at this time. We look forward to seeing you again! Hampton Dental Clinic 506-832-5508
