Last night, the Honorable Doug Schweitzer, Minister of Jobs, Economy and Innovation, hosted a telephone Town Hall Meeting with business owners from the construction, oil and gas and Agriculture Industry. Tomorrow, December 10, Minister Schweitzer will be hosting a town hall for Restaurants, Food Service, Retail, Casinos, Hospitality (Hotels and Ski Lodges) and Personal Services. The Town Hall will include: - Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Chief Medical Officer of Health... - Martin Long, MLA, Parliamentary Secretary for Small Business and Tourism The intent is to answer your questions about the new restrictions, the spread of COVID-19 and talk about ways that you can operate safely, and help limit the spread, keeping Albertans safe. They will also answer any questions you have about Alberta’s Recovery Plan and how government can continue to provide support during these difficult times. For the past week, we have been discussing our plan for the next Open-Air Market. Since we had to cancel our Summer Cruisin themed market last week, we have decided to pivot ideas and mash a few themes together to throw an Open-Air Market; Summer Blowout.
