February 28th - Rink Update! Outdoor rink will be closed indefinitely. Consistent cold weather is a key factor. Mother Nature has shown us mixed emotions this season creating a challenge to maintain a decent ice surface. Fingers crossed the season isn’t over yet!

The Rotary Club of Wolfville Mud Creek contributed $10,000 toward the installation of new Hantsport School Playground Equipment. The Mud Creek Club helped th...e Home and School Association reach the total goal of $106,000 toward this much needed addition to the School and the surrounding community. The goal of the project was to provide a safe and fun area for children to play and interact with others by having a location available that promotes active living for children and their families. The availability of the equipment provides an opportunity for children to be active without having to be part of an organized sport or be confined to specific times or seasons. It also encourages community members to connect face-to-face when they are present with their children and helps develop that sense of community spirit. This project is an excellent example of community engagement and partnership. It took grass roots fundraising by students, teachers and parents, grants from government, community and corporate support, and service clubs like Rotary to make it happen. We are pleased to once again, on your behalf, support projects that promote healthy living and community engagement.
