AGH Virtual Dream Gala ~ Saturday, November 28, 2020 We are honoured to have been invited by the the Art Gallery of Hamilton to perform at their Annual Fundraising Gala. This year it will be virtual. Dancers from Hamilton Academy of Performing Arts and Hamilton City Ballet will perform "Nikia" solo variation from "La Bayadere" and the historical "Pas-de-Quatre". Thank you Carnegie Gallery for exhibiting our Nutcracker costumes as part of Dundas Arts Weekend this year once again! We will all greatly miss performing our yearly Nutcracker ballet on stage with live orchestra this year. Please visit the Carnegie Gallery for a last glimpse of our lovely costumes before they come down on Thursday!

CONGRATULATIONS to our students Gabriela, Nicol, Felicity & Lilia for receiving the Bay Area Science and Engineering Fair Award of Excellence Scholarship and the Bronze Merit Award!!! Gabriela and Nicol presented Problem Solving Pudel Pointers science project. Felicity and Lilia presented "Can Electrophoresis Separate Colour?" science project. We are very proud of you all! Today, we celebrate our virtual Spring Ball! We have wonderful memories from our Spring Ball of years past, showcasing our talented artists and bringing the Hamilton and Dundas communities together through their love for the arts. We would like to thank everyone who has supported our school in the past and continues to support our school as we navigate this difficult situation. . This unprecedented crisis poses a huge financial challenge for artists and arts organizations everywhere including ours. This weekend, the Hamilton Academy of Performing Arts is celebrating what would have been our Annual Spring Ball. The Spring Ball is a highlight during our year, where we bring friends, family and supporters of our school together to celebrate our talented young artists and our dedication to bringing arts to the community. The Spring Ball is the school’s major fundraising event of the year. This year, due to the extraordinary circumstances presented by COVID-19, HAPA had to ...take the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Ball. We thank all of our friends, supporters and donors for attending our past events. If you are able, there are several ways you can help to support our school in lieu of attending this year’s event donating your Spring Ball ticket purchase for a tax receipt making a donation directly to the school (tax deductible) making a donation to our bursary program to support a talented student in need (tax deductible).
