Nationview -School Age Group We did a braiding train. The girls LOVED it!! On the snow day last Wednesday, for the small amount of time we were inside, these girls wanted to practice their braiding skills! We all lined up and braided each other’s hair. These girls are super good at braiding hair! How beautiful. Who knew a braiding train could be so much fun! ... We had a blast and the girls LOVED it! Miss Dana & Miss Meghan

Nationview Site - Infants Today we decided to play with some oats and ground up Fruit Loops. We thought it would be nice to do a dry sensory activity as the majority of the ones we have been doing are sticky, wet and gooey, We set out each tray specific to the likes of each child. With the oats and Fruit Loops we added in some toys that matched. A set of stacking blocks for L as he likes to stack all of the toys in the classroom. ... A school bus for W as he enjoys playing with the vehicles we have and is always on the look out for vehicles when we are outside. A bear for W as he is always dressed in his cute bear outfits and likes to play with the animals we have out. Stars for M as he loves everything that lights up and shines. Chesterville Site - Feb 3 We had a great snow day! The children enjoyed doing lots of arts and crafts, sledding/surfing down the hills, and playing out in the snow. -Miss. Hailey and Miss. Savanna

Chesterville Site - This morning the children had fun painting hearts on the windows for Valentines Day, each child picked their own colour, and Miss Donna then added their name. Outside there was much snow fun with the frozen balloon balls, toboggans as well as catching bubbles! Miss Donna and Miss Valerie

Transportation is cancelled today due to road and weather conditions. CDSBEO schools remain open. UCDSB schools will be closed and will provide a remote learning day. Stay safe.
