Thanks to the generosity of many donors the Harbour LIghts Campaign had a record year! This morning we distributed $226,500 to 15 food banks in Southwestern New Brunswick. Here are a few of the very happy food bank volunteer recipients along the some of our Harbour Lights Campaign team from CBC New Brunswick and Port Saint John

As 2019 winds to a close we wanted to thank the many people, companies, and organizations who have contributed to this year's campaign, be that through the very generous gift of donations or time in volunteering for the Campaign. We are at a Dec 31st total of $223,051.98 raised for 15 food banks from St. Stephen to Sussex. These funds will be used to carry the food banks through the rest of winter and well into 2020. Our 2 silent auction items will be situated with our volunteers at the foot of the Saint John City Market tomorrow during the #HarbourLights Christmas at the Market Show. The Hockey Night package silent auction item will be closed at 730 am The Jane Giggey of Wickham quilt will close at 8:00 am.

We're so excited to see everyone tomorrow at Saint John City Market for the annual Mayor's Breakfast and CBC New Brunswick's Information Morning Saint John Broadcast. We'll start selling mugs as soon as the show goes live on the air, but people generally line up beginning at 4:30 am (outside the City Market's Charlotte Street entrance). Mugs are 2 per person while quantities last (only 300 are made), each mug is $30. We are able to take cash, cheque, and electronic payments.... Our #HarbourLights elves will be on hand from 6 am - 8:30 am to accept your donations of cash/cheque/electronic payment and write your donation receipts. We're starting of the Big show day with $87,591.07 raised since December 2 when the 2019 Campaign kicked off! Thank you to all donors! We’re here at the Quispamsis Lions Club and the Lions have a great breakfast all in support of Harbour Lights. Our elves are on hand to write donation receipts and don’t forget we have a Square this year so you can make debut/credit and other e-payments. The Rothesay High School choir is also here providing music for all here.

We had great support today in Sussex at the Road Show and at the David Myles Singing for Supper event at Brunswick Square. When we added in the Canada Helps online donations our 7 day total is $66,016.15! Thank you to all of our Campaign supporters--the tree is fully lit. We continue to fundraiser with CBC Radio One Information Morning Saint John up until Dec 24. See you tomorrow at the Lions Club in Quispamsis.... Tomorrow we'll be at the #HarbourLights road show where the elves are enjoying breakfast with the Quispamsis Lions Club at 9 Market Street, Quispamsis. All welcome and all proceeds from breakfast go to the Harbour Lights Campaign 2019. Come out and grab a full breakfast and start your day right! We’ll be there from 6 am until 9 am.... We’ll have our donation receipt books and happy elves to help you out. We’ll also take electronic payments this year.
