Our last day of mountain bike season is here! It's a dreary day, although nothing stops our dedicated riders. if you're staying home, check out some behind the scenes sneak peeks from our Chalet shot last night and this morning. So warm and inviting.

We are experiencing a technical issue with our website Trail Conditions. While our web team work on the issue, please read below for the relevant information. Happy Christmas Eve. After a mild night and some rain, the trails are very soft and wet. We did not groom last night, as the snowmobile would have severely damaged the base. Torino, Nagano, Sochi, and all trails on Olympic side will be open for skiing. We are closed for fatbiking today. Looks like some new snow is heading our way just in time for Christmas. Reminder, we close at 3pm today, and we are closed on Christmas, Re-opening for skiing on boxing Day (Dec. 26). Rental skis, snowshoes are available today. Ski Trail passes are discounted to $25 (tax in).

Notice to all Hardwood Trail users: The county will be commencing with their foresting/thinning operation on the Olympic side of Hardwood starting on Oct. 18th and running until Dec. 1st. At that time, the following trails will be closed: Sidewinder, Gnarly, Radical, Venture and Wilderness. ... Trails that will remain open for the final couple weeks of the mountain bike/trail running season will be: Little Pushers, Sprockids, Fun, Crank’d and Serious. The county finished their logging operation on the wilderness property last week. Our crew has been working hard to recover the singletrack, and we are happy to say that "wilderness" and "venture" are now fully open. Still some fine tuning left, but the trails are clear, signed, and safe. With the recent announcement from Cycling Canada and the Ontario Cycling Association, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Hardwood Wednesday Night Mountain Bike Races. The series is a fixture at Hardwood, and this is the first time in 25 years that the Wednesday Night Mountain Bike Races have not run. We will miss seeing everyone on Wednesday nights, but if we all do our part now, hopefully we can look forward to the Hardwood Cyclocross series in the fall. ...Lets all stay smart, healthy and safe so that we can look forward to a full return to mountain bike racing in 2021.
