You are amazing Alysha Kyle ! What’s not to love about Worthy ! Beautiful song and so many more to follow. Note from Alysha.......I remember back in May sitting on the shower room floor (for the acoustics) and just singing. I landed on the song ‘Tremble’ by Mosaic MSC and singing over and over- Jesus Jesus, you make the darkness tremble, Jesus Jesus, you silence fear. It was when there were so many unknowns and I saw real fear in posts on social media and in conversation ...with different people. I had such a peace in my heart and wanted so much for other people to know it and walk in it but I didn’t know how to share it. My serious writing journey began in January. God gave me a head start to what would turn into so many amazing open doors. It all started because I let go of what I thot I knew God wanted for my life. I told God I wanted him, more than anything, to use me. Send me anywhere (I did even apply for things out of country). I just felt in the meantime to start writing. As soon as songs started being birthed from quiet times, I began to realize that when we fix our eyes on Jesus, when we REALLY seek him and ask questions and DIG DEEP, he really does reveal himself! I think God wants us to ask cuz why would he tell us something we don’t care to hear? We wouldn’t listen anyways! So back to the bathroom floor, I continued to sing ‘Jesus’ and just play my guitar quietly and listen and what came out was praise to the one who is WORTHY. ‘Jesus, Jesus, strong and mighty, kind of glory, he is worthy...’ Such a simple thing to say but I believe it translates with anointing because it was in the the quiet seeking of the Lord that humility and surrender lead me to praise- and that’s what I want people to feel when they hear this song. I’m so thankful for Nathan and Jessica for pressing in with me to finish this! And for Mark and Christina for worshiping with me here. God is so faithful and I can’t wait to share what else I’ve been working on! See more
