Looking for something to do this December? Why not make bird feeders out of pine cones? https://www.thespruce.com/pine-cone-bird-feeder-385750

It's no fair that we don't get to see you this year! Check out downtown Harriston for a little taste of the fall fair and get your picture taken in tannery park. Hope to see you next year!

Thanks to Sheila Grein for the neat display, we're definitely missing fair season too!

161st Harriston-Minto Fall Fair cancelled due to Covid19. It is with great sadness the Harriston Agricultural Society announces the cancellation of the 161st Harriston-Minto Fall Fair that was set to take place September 18-20, 2020 at the Harriston Fairgrounds. The health and safety of our volunteers and fair goers is our top priority and as such, the Harriston-Minto Agricultural Society feels it is in the best interest of our community to cancel the 2020 fall fair. ...This cancellation includes the Ambassador of the Fair Competition that is normally held in July previous to the fall fair. The Harriston-Minto Agricultural Society prides itself in being a resilient organization with extremely deep roots in the community dating back to 1859. The Society is confident it will be back stronger next year with another family fall fair event Flannel Shirts & Denim Skirts in September 2021. The Harriston-Minto Agricultural Society wishes to thank our volunteers, community members, sponsors and donors that have supported the fall fair over the years. Without you, our fair, would not be possible. We hope to connect with you all again in 2021.
