Another healthy Sextuplet last night .Then a big single right after...we now have a Quintuplet and a Twin
Big guy on a dead tree below the barn ... I LIKE lamb too !!!
Then this ...putting coveralls on needle falls out of pocket ,cap stays in pocket .Lands on the floor needle up ,then into ankle ! How's your day .
About a month ago had a ewe go down . Got her back and well. So decided to see what I could do to get the gals to the end .Been thinking and asking for a few years . Within 2 days we had a ration additive formulated and in the barn being fed .. Remarkable results . No more down ,not a harness or spoon . Not only do we have lamb vigor but ewe vigor !!! ... More later ... these Sextuplits were my 2AM On her own in less than half hr !
Vicki and I had the discussion we have to ship older ewes before they are an issue . Here is a 11 yr old Francis Winger original ... Just gave us 3 LARGE ewelambs, hr old drank a bottle of colostrum and have all sucked a very nice udder !!! ... So bloody impressive. Won this one

Another short growing season . Froze for many hrs last night . Again tonight for 3rd night in a row !!!
Very pleased with the Rams we received doing a swap with Marie and Christian from Agronovie Farms in Granby Que . First thing I look at is the front end of the Ram . These guys are my type . We are able to build length and capacity in our ewes(second pic) .Which enables the ewe to have Quads and Quints for years .,but without a front end they don't last . The breeder needs to be cognizant of type .... Thankyou Agronovie ...hard to believe it was 3 years since you folks were on PEI for our last trade. Thankyou Ted and Joanne for making the run .
