If you have any Christmas trees or ornaments, we still need some. We will close our donation bin this Saturday, so we can get what we have unpacked. We will be filling up our store, for our next sale date of Nov. 29th! Thank you to everyone who generously donates to us!

If weve said it once, weve said it a million times over. Without the support of our community, we are nothing, without each of you contributing in any way, sh...ape or form you can, we would cease to exist. Wether that means making a monetary donation, donating left over food and supplies, volunteering, sharing posts and offering words of kindness and support, in each of your own unique ways, you help to make a difference. You help us make a difference. With that being said, we would like to take this opportunity to extend our most heartfelt thanks, gratitude and appreciation to the township of South Frontenac and more specifically the men and women of Hartington Community Caring, a locally supported area not for profit organization who believes in us and trusts in what we do so much so that they have made such a generous donation for which we are so grateful. This will go towards us continuing to do the good work we are doing in stabilizing colonies all across the township that so desperately are in need of assistance in helping these beautiful creatures. Lastly, to the community, the residents of South Frontenac who so tirelessly advocate for these animals, who wake up at dawn to feed each morning before caring for their own needs, who pick up extra shifts or work longer hours to afford food to keep those tiny bellies full, you are the unsung heroes of everything we do. You are what makes your community great. The compassion and care that you show for these all but forgotten and often discarded precious lives, is truly astonishing and brings tears, its nothing short of remarkable. We are excited to welcome back customers on Tuesday Oct. 20th! 9am to 3pm We will be following all of the Covid Opening Guidelines given to us by KFLA HEALTH UNIT. We will be doing contact tracing. Maximum of 10 people allowed in at a time! 30 mins shopping time limit.... We will not be resuming regular hours but keep watch on our fb page for special opening days between now and Christmas!

The Township will not be opening up their building (Princess Anne Building) until September 2020. So we will see you all then! We will still have Our Back to School Sale Outdoors near the end of August!

Our #1 Priority is to provide Good Used Clothing and Various Household Goods. We sell everything at a very low cost, to those in our Community. We also donated to fire victims and others in need. Any Monies raised we then donated back into our local community. Covid has made this a difficult year for us all. Community Caring has operated for at least 30 years. Thank you to those kind hearted women who began this little Store years ago.

We have been getting inquiries about when we will be opening. We appreciate your enthusiasm. The township owns the building and hasnt opened any of their buildings - except the offices - to the public. We are working on doing a yard sale soon ,but it has been too scorching hot to sit outside all day. We will be posting on here as soon as we have a date.
