These two trees outside our school always make me think. They have the same "experience" (weather conditions, moisture) They are the same breed of tree as far as I can tell and yet they react differently. Be kind, we can react to circumstances in a different manner than others...Keep your love on ....you just don't know

Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you. Surely I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Thank God for his constant presence with you as you go about your day.

Our theme this year is Anchored!! With all that is going on in the world this seems a fitting focus, on the one who is the Anchor!

A Coop Card order is being placed Wed Sept 16. Please let us know by 12 Noon. Such a Great Fundraiser! You select the value of the card you would like to order. $25, $50, $100 and beyond! You can use the cards at any Coop in Western Canada. Grocery, Hardware, Agro and Gas stores.... The school receives 10% from Coop! Thank you Coop!!

We are back in full swing at school. It has been so great having our halls filled with laughter and voices again. Just wanted to remind everyone of a few new guidelines to keep us all safe and healthy in our return to school. 1. Please send a refillable water bottle with your child everyday as our communal water fountains are not in use for the year. ... 2. We now have microwaves in our classrooms, so students may bring warm up items for lunch now. 3. Please refer to the picture attached when your child/children are sick. We would like to advise you to call 811 anytime that you have a sick child. They will inform you if your child should return to school or stay at home and rest longer.

Did you know that there are so many ways to donate to Heritage Christian School? Even with the COVID restrictions keeping you from physically entering the school, the world of technology has opened so many doors! We have E-tranfer, credit card through Square, Canada Helps an d even pre-authorized debit for monthly giving! When the school opens to visitors, we will have cheque and cash options available as well as all of the electronic means! Mr Wiebe’s classroom now has an adjoining room to make more space for the students! Thank you to everyone who came and helped clean up after the construction was completed.
