Our Grade 11 Music Class is entertaining everyone today with a rhythm and sound event. What a thrill to see neon stickers and painted gloves glow under black lights while singing, clapping, and stomping to the beats of drums. Finishing up the energetic performance, students were led to focus on the blessings of the upcoming Easter weekend. We are very thankful for the gifts and talents we can share with each other in so many different ways.

The Grade 7 Science class finally had enough sun to test their solar ovens.

The total tally of the cards came to 580 for the three classes! Thank you, everyone, for making the day so special for our Grade 1 students. Cards were sent from all over Ontario, from Quebec, New Brunswick, Tennessee, and even one from Austria! We have a great supporting community!

100 Day has arrived! The excitement level was high as the day began. We are waiting for the final count of cards that each class received. Thank you to everyone who participated. The cards and extra surprises will bring much joy to the fun-filled day.

All week, cards for 100 Day have been arriving in backpacks or in the mail. They have come from all over Ontario and one even arrived from Quebec! We are getting excited but still could use a boost to get each class to 100! Hope you popped a card or two in the mail but we will also gladly come to the door if you want to drop some off. There will be so much excitement as we count and read them together. March 2nd will be a fun filled day!

These videos were enthusiastically written, directed, and produced by Nadine and Ella as part of a media class project. We are hoping that these commercials will help raise awareness for the upcoming virtual bazaar.

Enjoying the space and weather beyond the walls of a classroom.

Blessed to have such beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy right on our own property. Much work has gone in to preparing and clearing the areas and we have been blessed with items and efforts of all kinds to make them ready. We are thankful!

With thanks to God, we could enjoy a wonderful graduation ceremony last Saturday. The smiles of our graduates are so nicely reflected in these photos. We thank Mr. K. for his talents and time to capture the event.

On Saturday, September 12, we hope to celebrate our Grade 12 grads with a ceremony of a different sort than we are used to. It begins at 7:30 p.m. and you are encouraged to watch as together we humbly thank the Lord for His blessings on their academic achievements. https://youtu.be/YZxup-VGNR8

It was a great start to the new school year! Everyone worked together to remember and learn the new protocols and procedures. There were lots of smiles as we could connect with each other. We are so blessed!

Lord willing, we look forward to begin a new school year tomorrow. There is much excitement all around for getting back to the in-school routine. We have been blessed throughout the outbreak to connect in different ways and the Lord certainly provided for our every need. On our first day of school, we are used to a large gathering of parents and grandparents in our gym along with our students as we seek the Lord’s blessing on our work here at Heritage. The Lord has different plans for us this year. The opening assembly will be live streamed at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 8, as long as the buses arrive on time and our technology works well. There were plenty of laughs at the participants of this silly game. Some pretty funny noises come out at the end!!

The day started in the gym with a study led by Mr Kemper on the school year’s theme verses, Phil. 4: 8,9. Following a break, we enjoyed a few games to enjoy each other’s company and remind us of the fun and great times we can have together as a staff. Lots of good laughs.
